The internet contains a small portion compared to what is published in books.
Eight percent of all journals and even fewer books are on the Internet. Libraries contain more reliable scholarly information from books. A library contains physical copies of information from a published author while the internet contains virtual information that is not always correct. The internet has websites that you can visit to get information about a specific place or places like a restaurant or a hotel. You are probably not going to find information about a hotel in a library unless you use one of their computers. Though the internet can be a very reliable source for information, books will always have more reliable information with some exception of course. Books are constantly being uploaded to the internet, so maybe one day scholarly information on the internet will be as reliable as a book for information. Libraries can offer tons of value because of all the information a library contains.
